Cranberry Port Relish

A new twist on an old favourite.



Ingredients

1 cup ruby port
1 cup granulated sugar,
12 oz fresh cranberries



Directions

In a medium-sized saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Lower heat and cook until the liquid becomes syrupy and half the cranberries have popped. This should take 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
