Warm weather means picnic season! It doesn’t take a lot of planning, just a little bit of preparation is all you need for a memorable moment enjoying a daytime snack and fresh air or al fresco dining. Whether you’re planning a trip to the park or your backyard, here is a list of everything you’ll need to plan a simple and delicious picnic.
Location
These days we need to make the most of the spaces around us! Whether it’s your favorite spot on the beach, setting-up under a shady tree in the park or enjoying your own yard, sometimes the simple act of switching it up and getting some fresh air while you eat can reinvigorate you.
Ambience is key
Who says you need to stick to a traditional picnic? Why not consider picking a theme. Make it a Tapas picnic and whip up an on-the-go charcuterie board with mixed olives, cured meats, cheese and pack of lesley stowe raincoast crisps® fig and olive. If you love games and activities, plan for a game day. Bring a few options like a bocce set or corn hole. Something as simple as a Frisbee and a football will also go a long way. Games combined with your top choice of music and you’re ready for a fun-filled day!
Every picnic needs pickings
A picnic is only as good as the food! Be sure to choose food that’s packable and versatile. Our newest lesley stowe raincoast crisps® wild blueberry and almond are a delicious addition to the menu. They pair great with a brie cheese, fresh fruit and chilled prosecco. For those with a sweeter tooth, pack up some raincoast crisps® cranberry and hazelnut topped with dried fruit and dark chocolate spread. Enjoy this delicious snack with a cold honey lager.
